In order to improve the overall quality of this forum, help us keep it organized! If you’re not sure where your post should go, let us know and we’ll sort it out.
No racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic comments/posts.
This includes using abbreviations, slurs, or such language that could otherwise still be interpreted by most as hostile or offensive.
No pornographic or obscene material of any kind.
Any user posting obscene content will immediately be banned.
No attacking other posters.
Be civil, even if you disagree with the author of the post. By choosing not to be rude, you will increase the overall civility of the community and make it better for everyone. This means don’t use Ad Hominem attacks, resort to insults instead of constructive criticism, or threaten them.
Avoid repetitive posts.
If you want to speak on a subject that already has a dedicated post, comment on that post, rather than start an entire new post. This helps us avoid spam posts. If your post is nuanced enough to deserve its own dedicated post or the other post hasn’t had any recent replies, exercise your best judgement on whether a new post is justified or not.
No engaging in Illegal Activity.
Avoid posting or distributing any material that infringes and/or violates any right of a third party or a law. Users who fail to comply with this rule will be immediately banned.
Do not post anyone’s personal information.
This includes addresses, phone numbers, emails, links to social media accounts, and other sensitive information. Users found posting personal information are subject to an immediate ban. Also ensure to exercise caution if/when giving out your own sensitive information.
Follow the Golden Rule.
Do unto others as you would have done unto you. Adhere to the same standards of behavior online that you follow in real life.
